Christmas party at a hotel: one package, one price, seven cities

Anyone who organises the office Christmas party knows the list: finding a venue, contacting caterers, working out the drinks budget, sorting out the decorations and tracking down a microphone somewhere for the management’s speech. At [BEE]PARTMENT, it’s all included in one package. It costs from 99 euros per person and can be booked at seven venues between Berlin and Munich.

What’s in the Christmas parcel?

The evening begins with a reception. Depending on your preference, there’ll be mulled wine or punch, served with small winter-themed canapés, whilst the last few colleagues hand in their coats. Afterwards, it’s time for dinner: either a festive three-course meal served at the table or a Christmas buffet.

Drinks are covered by a flat-rate charge. This makes it easier to calculate costs in advance than with an open bill based on consumption. The events team will clarify exactly which drinks are included when you make your enquiry.

The celebration takes place in a dedicated function room; the room hire is included in the price. The room is decorated for Christmas, with festive music playing in the background. Audio-visual equipment – including a sound system and microphone – is available for speeches, awards or the annual review. And a dedicated contact person from the team will oversee the event from the very first phone call right through to the evening itself.

A set menu or a buffet?

A set menu works well when there are speeches and everyone is expected to listen at the same time. The courses set the pace for the evening, and no one is left standing in a queue with their plate whilst someone is speaking at the front.

A buffet is the better choice for teams who rarely see each other in their day-to-day work. People get up, move around and strike up conversations with colleagues from other departments. For larger groups, a buffet is often more relaxed because nobody has to stick to a fixed seating plan.

The seven locations

The Christmas hamper is available at the following shops:

One practical consideration that’s missing from a restaurant celebration: all the venues are hotels. Anyone who doesn’t want to drive home after the evening, or who is travelling from further afield, can stay overnight in the same building. It’s best to enquire about rooms at the same time as booking the event.

How to book your Christmas party

Enquiries should be sent by email to [email protected].. The team will be able to provide a quote more quickly if the following details are included:

  • Preferred venue
  • Preferred date and an alternative date
  • Approximate number of guests
  • Set menu or buffet
  • Vegetarian, vegan or allergy-related requirements
  • Whether speeches, tributes or any other programme items are planned
  • Whether rooms are required

Fridays and Saturdays in December are traditionally in high demand amongst companies. Anyone wishing to hold a party on one of these evenings should not wait until November.
